The Company
Founded in 1981 by Mario Guastallo, GMI was successfully launched into the already thriving market of industrial gaskets due to the winning combination of the marketing mix of its products: high quality and service. From the outset, particular attention was paid both to the selection of virgin materials with best performance and to the transformation of the parts.

Parts transformation
GMI offers molded and worked items in virgin and charged P.T.F.E., together with the broadest range of industrial plastic materials. Transformation is carried out through lathing, milling con CNC workstations or on traditional machinery for the production of individualized items manufactured with the care of artisan handiwork.

Research
As a company even the R&S department has experienced consistent growth, since 1993 for example, Guaflon™ ( special P.T.F.E), Seaflon™ ( expanded P.T.F.E) have been introduced, bringing us to the most recent Kaflon™, the latest perfluoroelastomer.

Commercial services

In 1998 collaboration with FluorTecno began with the aim of providing additional visibility to the distribution of GMI products through a high quality commercial service.
Well honed in the GMI technological background, FluorTecno provides valid assistance in making choices in an ever-growing universe of materials and solutions.
FluorTecno is also a reference point for the maintenance departments of the industrial buildings thereby guaranteeing prompt delivery of products even during the summer and Christmas periods.
