The Cam-Lock BioKam seal, designed by FluorTecno, has been developed specifically to meet the requirements of critical applications in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Its main distinguishing feature is the use of perfluoroelastomer KAFLON 620W (FFKM), which offers total chemical compatibility of PTFE over a wide pH range (0-14) and high elastic return typical of elastomers, to ensure perfect seal even in extreme operating conditions. This makes the BioKam seal ideal for use with any type of fluid, ensuring full compatibility.

Compared to FEP/PFA encapsulated KamSeals and Saturn seals, BioKam offers significant advantages including superior chemical resistance and improved elasticity, making it particularly effective in aggressive environments.

BioKam seals comply with FDA 177.1550 and EU 10/2011, ensuring suitability for use in chemical, pharmaceutical and food applications.
