SPIRAL WOUND GASKETS

Spirometallic seals are designed to provide optimum seal under varying temperature and pressure conditions, consisting of a shaped metal strip and a filler tape made from materials such as graphite, PTFE, ceramic fiber, glass or mica. These tapes are wound evenly with constant tension, ensuring excellent tightness. In addition, the seals can be assembled with internal centering rings, which prevent material accumulation and protect against corrosion, and external ones, which ensure correct alignment between the bolts and prevent lateral expansion of the spiral. These characteristics make them ideal for a wide range of industrial applications.
